L009UiGS-RM

L009 is more than just a router. This product line is up to 4 times faster than RB2011, it has a modern ARM CPU with container support, an innovative enclosure that allows mounting up to four routers in a single 1U space, more RAM, PoE, and 2.5G SFP support. This version comes with 1U rackmount accessories.

There are three main reasons to choose the L009: better performance, more features, and some interesting quality-of-life improvements. Let’s start with the raw power and performance improvements.

L009 features a powerful dual-core ARM CPU. It offers significant improvement when it comes to routing and filtering, complex firewall rules, IPsec hardware encryption, and various advanced RouterOS features. ARM CPU architecture provides significant advantages over older MIPS-based devices. Like using all the latest Linux Kernel features. Or implementing your own container projects. The combination of a modern ARM CPU and a full-sized USB port is perfect for running custom container projects. You could run a Pi-hole adblock on this router, for example. Or you could use the USB to add an LTE modem of your choice. Imagination is the real limit here.

L009 is up to 4 times faster than RB2011 in most cases and setups, from simple fast path routing to complex bridge filters. And L009 IPsec hardware encryption ensures lower CPU usage without measurable performance degradation compared to the regular driver. You can expect around 60-90 Mbps throughput using a 1400 byte packet size.

All the ports are now Gigabit Ethernet ports. There’s PoE-in on the first port. You can use it instead of the DC jack to power the unit. And there’s PoE-Out* on the last port – for powering other devices. Another helpful addition is an SFP cage that supports both Gigabit and 2.5 Gigabit connectivity. We have tested a variety of MikroTik SFP modules and cables that support higher speeds – the 2.5G capability makes a sysadmin’s life so much easier– there’s a console port for quick direct-access configuration!

At the heart of it all we have a speedy Marvell Peridot Switchchip which offers an impressive 2.5 Gigabit full duplex connection to the CPU to all the ports except Ether1. The first port has its own Gigabit full duplex line to the CPU. That means – countless configurations with no bottlenecks!

The new enclosure is a spectacular innovation on its own. It’s the same form-factor you might have seen with our highly sought-after RB5009 devices. It has several extremely useful properties. First of all, the case acts as a massive heat-sink, protecting your setups from overheating. But here’s the fun part: it comes with everything you need to fit up to four of these routers in a single 1U rackmount space.

RB5009UPr+S+IN

A new version of our popular heavy-duty RB5009 router with PoE-in and PoE-out on all ports. Perfect for small and medium ISPs. 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet & 10 Gigabit SFP+, numerous powering options.

This version of the RB5009 has all the bells and whistles of the previous model: Gigabit Ethernet, 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet, and a 10 Gigabit SFP+ cage for fiber connectivity. It has the speed, the power, and the durability. But this time, we have added PoE-in & PoE-out on all eight Ethernet ports. Combined with the 2-pin connector and the DC jack, you’re getting 10 separate ways of powering. Dual redundant power supplies would usually take your uninterrupted uptime to the next level. RB5009UPr+S+IN takes it one step above that!

All power options support a wide voltage range of 24 – 57 V. However, you can not mix the voltages. If you’re using PoE-out to power other devices, the board will choose the source with the highest voltage (DC jack or the 2-pin connector) to power those.

Each PoE-out port can supply up to 25W of power. All the ports combined are limited to 130W, which should be enough for most setups. You can specify maximum available power from your power sources manually, if necessary. When it comes to PoE-out features, the new RB5009 can trade blows with our legendary PoE switches: CRS354 & CRS328. In the smallest possible form-factor and for the best price on the market!

Like the indoor version, this RB5009 has 7x Gigabit Ethernet ports, one 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet port, a 10G SFP+ cage, and a full sized USB3 port!

When we say “extensive power redundancy”, we really mean it: the unit offers 9 possible ways of powering. There’s a 2-pin power connector on the front, as well as PoE-in and PoE-out on all eight Ethernet ports. The board can use any of these sources to power itself, choosing the one with the highest voltage when multiple sources are available. RB5009 takes up to 21W to power itself. If you’re using PoE-in, the board will stay on even if 8 of your 9 power sources suddenly go down. Unprecedented redundancy!

All power options support a wide voltage range of 24 – 57 V. However, you can not mix the voltages.

Each PoE-out port can supply up to 25W of power. All the ports combined are limited to 130W, which should be enough for most setups. (Note that the included PSU is capable of 96W total, so for maximum output, a different PSU will be needed). You can specify maximum available power from your power sources manually, if necessary. If you’re using PoE-out to power other devices, you have to provide power via the 2-pin connector to power those.

This product also features single voltage PoE-out – it can either be 802.3at/af compatible OR low-voltage PoE-out. That is determined by the voltage on the 2-pin connector, as no voltage conversion is done on this board.

CCR2004-16G-2S+

Up to 300% faster than the previous CCR1009 routers - in a blissful silence! Luxury you deserve for the price you can afford. 16x Gigabit Ethernet ports, 2x10G SFP+ cages.

Like the other models in CCR2004 series, this CCR also features the Amazon Annapurna Labs Alpine v2 CPU with 4x 64-bit ARMv8-A Cortex-A57 cores. While this CPU is running at 1.2 GHz, the router can be 3x as fast than the previous generation CCR’s. This is the silent powerhouse. Enjoy all the power of a real CCR in peace and quiet. Get rid of all the hum and buzz in your office, studio, server room or homelab without sacrificing the performance!

The new router has 18 wired ports, including 16x Gigabit Ethernet ports and two 10G SFP+ cages. It also has a RJ-45 console port on the front panel.

Each group of 8 Gigabit Ethernet ports is connected to a separate Marvell Amethyst family switch-chip. Each switch chip has a 10 Gbps full-duplex line connected to the CPU. The same goes for each SFP+ cage - a separate 10 Gbps full-duplex line. Boards come with 4GB of DDR4 RAM and 128MB of NAND storage.

So as you can see - no bottlenecks. As long as the CPU can handle the processing, all ports can reach wire speed. And this CPU is a beast that can handle a lot. If we look at the performance, you can see that it is trading blows with our CCR1009.

The best part? This brand new CCR is among the most affordable options out there - not only within the CCR series, but on the market in general. One of the most common ways to use this device would be: Gigabit Ethernet ports for the internal network; SFP+ ports for downlink and uplink. The perfect all-in-one solution for small and medium-sized businesses. Easy and efficient.

CCR2116-12G-4S+

Forget about CPU limitations in 10G setups with this powerful 16-core ARM CPU based CCR. Double the performance of our previous 36- core CCR, 6x faster BGP performance. Includes an M.2 PCIe slot.

CCR2116-12G-4S+ allows you to forget about CPU limitations in your setup. Like its younger brother – the amazing CCR2004, this router features the mighty Amazon Annapurna Labs Alpine CPU.

But with 16 cores running at 2 GHz, this CCR eats the other one for breakfast. For example, we see at least a 15% increase in single-core performance. And that is the most important aspect when it comes to heavy operations based on per-connection processing. Like queues, for example. CCR2116-12G-4S+ sets a new standard of single-core performance in the whole CCR product family! And it supports Layer 3 Hardware Offloading!

Obviously, you need the right connectivity to harness this power. There are four 10G SFP+ ports. They have a separate, full-duplex line connected to the Marvell Aldrin family switch chip. Then we have Gigabit Ethernet ports. 12 of them are running through the Marvel chip. And there is another Gigabit port connected directly to the CPU. For management purposes.

Each group of 4 ports has a separate full-duplex connection to the switch chip. No bottlenecks here. You can expect switch-like throughput in most setups. The new generation of processors offers mind-blowing performance. If we look at the CCR1036 - the powerhouse with a 36 core CPU, the new CCR2116 can easily double the performance. 16 cores vs 36 cores. Double the performance. Or even more.

If you are a rather large ISP, dealing with dynamic routing, massive BGPs, complex firewall rules, and intricate quality of service configurations..This is the right device for you. Combination of raw power and utility with the reliable 10G networking. And yes, like with any ISP-level device, we’ve included a dual-redundant power supply. So you have one less thing to worry about.

CCR2116-12G-4S+: technology tested by time, built for the future.
