The speed of fiber, the flexibility of wireless
Taara’s wireless technology enables high-speed data transmission of up to 20 gigabits per second across distances of up to 20 km. Each Taara link comprises two terminals equipped with mirrors and sensors that continuously align and track beams of light to maintain a stable connection. To prevent signal disruptions, terminals are strategically placed on towers, poles, or rooftops. Even in challenging conditions—such as tower movement due to wind or temporary obstructions like birds—Taara’s system ensures uninterrupted communication.
Operating in the optical spectrum, Taara provides 30 times the data capacity of traditional radio frequency solutions. Network operators and service providers can quickly deploy and relocate Taara links to expand coverage, enhance network resilience, or deliver temporary high-capacity connectivity for events and urban deployments.
