UCrypt QAM to QAM
ATX’s UCrypt QAM to QAM (Q2Q) media distribution gateway is designed to provide reliable and secure HD or SD programming to hospitality or other commercial customers without the need for set-top boxes at every display. An easy-to-use, Web-based UI for remote configuration management and the ability to monitor thousands of deployed units simultaneously via the UCrypt Monitoring server improves operational efficiency. The solution is able to decrypt up to 60 programs, and includes a configurable EPG (Electronic Program Guide) channel. It is ideal for MSOs and other service providers that need to decrypt select programs from their digital tier, re-encrypt them with Pro:Idiom® or leave them in-the-clear and retransmit them via QAM. It is especially well suited for hospitality applications requiring an expanded digital lineup.
UCrypt QAM to IP
ATX’s UCrypt QAM to IP (Q2IP) media distribution gateway is designed to deliver reliable and secure HD or SD programming to hospitality or other commercial businesses requiring IP-based video streams. An easy-to-use, Web-based UI for remote configuration, management and the ability to monitor thousands of deployed units simultaneously via the UCrypt Monitoring server monitoring improves operational efficiency. The UCrypt QAM to IP gateway supports a variety of decryption methods, including MediaCipher®, PowerKEY® or NDS® CableCARD™. The solution is ideal for MSOs and other service providers with a need to decrypt select programs from their digital tier, and retransmit them via multicast IP (with optional Verimatrix®, Pro:Idiom® or AES128 Fixed Key encryption).
UCrypt QAM to Analog
ATX’s UCrypt QAM to analog (Q2A) media distribution gateway is designed to convert content into analog format to service bulk MDU, hospitality or commercial accounts where legacy TVs are deployed. An easy-to-use, Web-based UI for remote configuration, management and the ability to monitor thousands of deployed units simultaneously via the UCrypt Monitoring Server improves operational efficiency. The solution is able to decrypt up to 72 programs, and includes a configurable EPG (Electronic Program Guide) channel. It is ideal for MSOs and other service providers with a requirement to decrypt select programs from their digital tier and retransmit them in NTSC or PAL analog format.
UCrypt IP to QAM
ATX’s UCrypt IP to QAM (IP2Q) media distribution gateway is designed to deliver digital content in a protected format into coax-based hospitality or commercial accounts where set-top box deployment is not practical or desired. An easy-to-use, Web-based UI for remote configuration, management and monitoring improves operational efficiency. The UCrypt IP to QAM solution supports up to 32 output QAMs and includes a configurable electronic program guide (EPG) channel. It is an ideal solution for MSOs and other service providers with a need to ingest content from their IP video network, re-multiplex and encrypt with Pro:Idiom®, or leave it in-the-clear for transmission via QAM 64 or 256.
UCrypt IP to IP
ATX’s UCrypt IP to IP (IP2IP) media distribution gateway is designed to enable MSOs and other service providers to ingest specific programs from their IP video network, encrypt them with Pro:Idiom® or AES-128 Fixed Key encryption and redistribute the encrypted versions of the programs over the network.
An easy-to-use, Web-based UI for remote configuration, management and monitoring improves operational efficiency. The UCrypt IP to IP solution is able to encrypt 1.7Gbps of program streams and supports both SD and HD, as well as MPEG-2 and H.264 program streams. The solution is ideal for operators looking to build a dedicated encrypted channel lineup to be delivered over direct fiber from a central headend in a protected format into commercial and hospitality locations.
UCrypt IP to Analog
ATX’s UCrypt IP to analog (IP2A) media distribution gateway is designed to ingest programs in IP format and retransmit them in analog format. It supports up to 60 individually agile analog output channels with enterprise-grade redundancy features. The UCrypt IP to Analog gateway is ideal for replacing legacy analog modulators when converting headends/hubs to all-IP transports and are perfect for building a “mini headend” for commercial accounts, MDUs or bulk hospitality accounts where non-digital TVs are prevalent
UCrypt Monitoring Server
ATX’s UCrypt monitoring server provides quick access to real-time information such as the health and status of all deployed UCrypt devices. It acts as a central site and information repository that NOC personnel, anywhere, can access. MSOs can define how they want to receive information and who receives it. With the UCrypt monitoring server, devices can be grouped and sub-categorized to correspond to an MSO’s organization scheme. Whether it is by region, by system, or another method, MSOs have the flexibility to monitor their UCrypt devices in a similar manner to their other deployed hardware. They can also configure the UCrypt monitoring server to provide customized reports based on that information.
Bridge QPSK
Entra Interactive Video Controller
The Vecima Entra Interactive Video Controller (IVC) works in conjunction with digital set-top boxes (DSTB) to provide forward signaling and reverse path communications for interactive video and data systems over a conventional two-way CATV plant. The Entra IVC provides unparalleled reliability through dual redundant powering (AC or DC) and state of the art components. A single Entra IVC integrates one QPSK modulator and eight QPSK demodulators, provides 10/100/1000BASE-T Ethernet for all application data plus remote operation and provides simple-to-use front panel controls for easy operation. A single IVC supports up to 16,000 set-top boxes.
The Entra IVC also supports R-PHY with downstream (DEPI) and upstream (UEPI) interfaces and can support 256 Remote PHY Devices.
The Vecima Entra IVC is in stock at Digicomm and is a direct replacement for the Cisco D9485 DAVIC QPSK Platform.
